Do Something New New Zealand
Discovery NZ partnered with Tourism NZ to showcase the best that our country has to offer, in an effort to break kiwis out of the habit of travelling to the same old spots or family bach. The AM and The Project visited 14 different locations, across 10 days, talking with the locals and taking part in local activities. The captured content was later broadcast and amplified across our social channels to reach as many kiwis as we could. A custom vertical was also launched on Newshub.co.nz to house the bespoke editorial content for each destination.
We produced a supporting co-branded promo spot across TV, VOD, Digital and Social for the entire 2 weeks to drive awareness of the campaign, where the creative mimicked the launch of an exciting new travel show complete with ‘epic voiceover guy’ - but with the twist at the end - this upcoming ‘season of entertainment’ was to be found right outside!
