Product & Brand Campaigns

From the brand awareness campaign when it first launched, to seasonal customer acquisitions (‘Try & Buys’), to premiere movie releases & activations - I was the lead creative for Sky Store’s Creative division for the 2 years from its inception.

With Sky having such a huge share in the paid TV market in the UK, there was a unique opportunity to offer current customers (and new) access to exclusive ‘early release’ movies ‘straight from the cinema’. A limited time retail window where movie fans could Buy or Rent top titles from the comfort of their home before the months long wait when it would finally be available on other streaming services.

Below are just a few of the spots and campaigns I created over the course of this period.

WELCOME TO SKY STORE - LAUNCH SPOT

A brand awareness campaign across TV and Digital introducing Sky Store to new customers.

The message? Tell people Sky Store is the #1 retail destination in the UK for the biggest movies fresh from the cinema, from the comfort of their homes.

WHAT’S IN STORE TRAILER

TVC that showcased exciting new release movies available exclusively in Sky Store, covering various genres to reach a wide range of movie fans and potential customers.


Captain America: Civil War

Bespoke promotional content created for the highly anticipated movie release of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War.

Sky Store was the exclusive distributor in the UK for the pre-order rights to own Captain America: Civil War at home after its theatrical run in cinemas (digital download and DVD). However, we had to advertise this exclusive offer at the same time as Marvel Studio’s own marketing campaign, with their trailers and TV spots saturating the market worldwide.

Leveraging off the massive hype already surrounding the movie, we wanted to create bespoke & tailored content that offered more than what fans had already seen and to revel in the excitement of The Avengers franchise’s most anticipated film yet.

Creative content was specifically created for Youtube pre-roll ads, Facebook & Twitter posts, digital banners and TVCs. The overall campaign encouraged fans to speculate on the movie’s plot, share which hero’s side they were on and why, all while driving them to Sky Store as the place to purchase the movie over other competitors.


Sky Store ‘Try for Free’ Offer

A sampling offer encouraging new customers to try Sky Store’s Buy & Keep service for free for a limited time only.

This was a direct response campaign where the promotion (featured across TV and social) drove customers either through their Sky EPG page on their TV or through the website to ‘trial purchase’ the product, allowing us to accurately measure the huge increase in interest in the service from new customers.
